Superb waffles

We absolutely love this Belgian Waffle Iron. It browns uniformly, and you can make them as light or as dark as you wish. The audible "done signal" is a major plus. The waffles have deep nooks and crannies to hold all the melted butter or ice cream you want to put on them. My daughter asked for them instead of cake for her birthday party. The recipe in the book is really the best one to use for this iron. Enjoy! We do.
A Great Belgian Waffle Iron !

Cuisinart really got it right with this 4-slice Belgian waffle iron. Its stainless "retro" styling is truely handsome, and it makes perfect waffles every time with heat variable by you to suit any individual's wish for degree of doneness. But you better get one while there are any left because I've been told that Cuisinart is discontinuing this retro styled model. DON'T DO IT, CUISINART !

We registered for this waffle iron at Macy's for our June 2007 wedding but did not receive it, and I was very disappointed. Because I had been looking forward to having a high quality waffle iron, we decided to purchase this iron ourselves from Amazon. We are extremely happy with our decision. This is an excellent machine - good looking, well constructed, and produces restaurant quality waffles - every time. The mechanism that allows you to choose the darkness of your waffles is genius, especially when cooking for individuals with various preferences. The feature that dings when your waffles are ready is also wonderful - especially for me since I tend to try to "clean as I go" and thus sometimes find myself distracted and not watching the food as closely as I should be watching it. One previous reviewer noted that a certain corner of her waffles dis not get cooked. The first time that I cooked waffles in this machine I had a similar experience, but then I noticed that I had not filled the batter high enough and had failed to even it into that corner. I do think that this machine is definitely worth the price. The results are very impressive - especially with fruit in the batter and served with fruit syrup, fruit slices, and whipped cream.

After two cheap waffle irons then an expensive one from a well known cooking store that still didn't work correctly, I broke down and bought this one. And I am so glad I did because it is a dream to use. Each time, I use a cooking spray and we like a browner waffle so I use the #4 setting and it comes out perfectly. I love the audible alarm. My sister used it for guests and is now buying her own because she also loved it.

This is a great kitchen tool. It's easy to clean, waffles don't stick, good temperature regulation and I like the light and sound indicators for notifying you when the waffle is done.
